Type 2 diabetes seminar on Oct. 18 at Parkview Manor

Joins us at Parkview Manor for a seminar with nephrologist, Dr. Robert Ting from the Scarborough Health Network, where we will discuss key questions regarding chronic kidney disease (CKD) and Type 2 diabetes (T2D) management in clients.

Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the link between CKD and T2D, the interplay between CKD and metabolic abnormalities, and learn to screen patients at risk of CKD and disease progression.

Finally, you will learn to apply the latest guidelines, recommendations and renal evidence to optimize kidney protection and reduce the risk of CKD progression in people with T2D.

Registration begins at 6:30pm, followed by a dinner and presentation, then finished off with a Q&A session at 7:45pm. The seminar will be held at Parkview Manor on 55 Barber Green road, North York.

To join this exclusive seminar, please contact Denise Travis at denise.travis@astrazeneca.com, or 416-839-8547 by October 7, Friday. Remember to indicate your meal preference of beef, chicken, fish or vegetarian.
